Reactions to the renovations and interior design work I have done to the North Branch Inn has helped me with getting two interior design projects in local farmhouses as well as loft space in Tribeca.
Summer has gone and as we get ready for a beautiful fall and winter season we are working on our menu and future events here at the Inn.
In addition to what we prepare here in our own kitchen, J.R. from Flour Power, Jennifer from Beach Lake Breads and Jane from the Bakehouse continues to provide me with the most incredible and deliciously edible breads, pies and desserts. Tonjes yogurt graces the fruit parfaits, the eggs we use are organic and free range and the maple syrup that flows over our French toast comes from Anderson Farm located in Long Eddy. And for as long as our farmers markets remain open we will shop their produce for our menu.
We will continue to serve dinner on Friday evenings from 6PM till 10 with our wine bar open till 11. The menu will be a simple one, offering savory stews, soups, salads and Chili's. Saturday mornings we serve breakfast and lunch from 9AM till 3PM at which time we close as we prepare for dinner, which mimics Friday's hours. Sunday we open again at 9AM and serve till 3PM.
Now for what's new. We will open our kitchen to local personalities who love to cook and are good at it. We want you to come in and be the chef for the night. Call your friends and let them know you will be hosting the dinner here and encourage them to come and taste your treats. Each week the menu will differ since each guest chef will bring his or her best recipe to share with whomever comes to dine here at the Inn.

This is not your traditional stay with breakfast included! Downstairs guests can enjoy fresh baked goods, coffee, delicious soups and sandwiches in Baxter's Wine Bar & Cafe where Wi-Fi and a variety of newspapers are available.
This spring you can also enjoy the addition of the wine bar with piano entertainment.
